Following on from the success of the 2016 event, The Brewhouse Arts Centre will once again be hosting the Easter family festival in conjunction with other Borough Council venues, Coopers Square and Octagon shopping centres, as well as local radio station, Touch FM.

The Burton Children’s Easter Festival will run between Saturday 8th and Saturday 22nd April, and is made up of several events taking place at the Brewhouse, in the Market Hall & Market Place and throughout the Coopers Square and Octagon shopping centres.

At the Brewhouse there will be live performances in the Brewhouse’s auditorium including a stop-motion workshop, Darren Pritchard Dance’s Body of Light and Half Moon’s Wrongsemble production of Three. The Crochet Club “Burton Yarn Trent” will be displaying an exhibition depicting Burton made entirely from crochet. There will also be crafts, workshops, street theatre and lots of hands-on activities for children and their families to take part in.

Play in the Place will also return this year, with tons of activities, workshops and performances taking place in Burton Market Hall & Place on Saturday 15th April between 10:00am and 4:00pm.
