ESBC Leisure Centre’s raise money to support British Heart Foundation Campaign

Meadowside and Uttoxeter Leisure Centres supported the recent British Heart Foundation Campaign as part of the authority’s ongoing commitment to promoting health and welling being to the local community.

Both centres hosted a number of ‘red’ events including special fitness classes, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) workshops and demonstrations and cake sales.

In total the events raised £178.09 for the British Heart Foundation.

Warren Appleby, Fundraising Manger for the British Heart Foundation said: ‘It was fantastic to receive the support of East Staffordshire Borough Council during our Wear Red fundraising appeal where staff and leisure users engaged in fitness activity raising a wonderful £178.09 for the life- saving work of the British Heart Foundation’
