Game Changer Performance (GCP) will link-up with St. George’s Park to deliver a range of experiences and services from their onsite performance centre.
The focus of experiences will be on delivering quality applied opportunities for education providers and teams to experience elite sports rehabilitation, sports science and conditioning first hand.
Founded in 2015 by Director Jake Keeling, GCP have established themselves as one of the UK’s leading sports performance companies.
Keeling said: “GCP was set up to provide non-elite audiences access to a range of sports performance services at their facilities and locations around the UK.
“Naturally the opportunity to work with more education providers and teams via experiences and services at SGP was an attractive one.
“I feel we are perfectly placed to deliver great applied experiences for students and teams which deliver services and give an insight into the world of elite sports performance.”
The FAExpand St. George’s Park General Manager, Holly Murdoch, said: “We’re pleased to be linking up with Game Changer Performance.
“Sports rehabilitation, sports science and conditioning is a vital part of what we do at St. George’s Park on a daily basis.
“Our aim is to continue the great work that has been carried out in our first five years and attract an even wider audience to the facilities.”
GCP’s multi-disciplinary team at SGP will include Lead Physiotherapist Jonathan Chatfield who joins from Peterborough United and brings with him over nine years of professional football sports medicine experience.
Chatfield said: “The link between GCP and The FA is exciting and highlights the importance of delivering football medicine and sports science strategies to a wide range of audiences.
“The opportunities and experiences for education providers and non-elite teams to comprehend the philosophies and applied skills of the GCP and FA MDT, consolidates the importance of educating and researching football performance strategies.
“Furthermore, GCP not only supports SGP as the national football training centre for The FA to facilitate our national teams winning championships from, but also to assist and collaborate with The FA in driving football performance medicine and physical performance nationally and internationally.”
GCP’s experiences and services launch from February 2018 and will be run on specific days during the week.
