Students unite for festival

Optimized-Unite Festival

Creative learners at Burton and South Derbyshire College (BSDC) recently held their Unite Festival at Brewhouse Arts Centre.

The annual Unite Performing Arts Festival is organised by BSDC Dance students, and is designed to showcase their talents in front of a public audience.

The festival also celebrates the talent of performing arts community groups in the area with guest performances from local dance troops and performing arts groups. The Unite Festival is packed full of different, exciting and inspirational performances and opportunities.

Gemma Haley, Performing Arts Lecturer for BSDC commented: “We are proud of how the Unite Performing Arts Festival has grown over the years. The festival is a great opportunity for our students to perform and for the local community to get involved in a fantastic project. A range of people from schools, community dance and theatre projects were involved, ranging from pre-school age to adults. It was a great opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate performing arts.”
